Return Policy

All sales are final for HVAC General Parts sold on Smartech’s website. Orders for Standardised and Customised Smartech Products can be cancelled subject to the Conditions of Sale here. We accept returns for refund or exchange, for products damaged in transit and for products incorrectly delivered by Smartech.

Refunds and Exchanges

If your product is damaged in transit, please reject upon arrival, and send in your claim to returns@smart-hvac.com.my within 7 days of the date of delivery. Smartech will process the evaluation once the returned product is received at our end, and we will email you to arrange for a replacement of the product or refund to you.

Customers may only return products incorrectly delivered by Smartech, and receive a refund or exchange on the following conditions:

• The Customer must email returns@smart-hvac.com.my within 7 days of the date of delivery and include proof of purchase (invoice and delivery note) and information of the incorrect item received to obtain prior consent and a returns number (to be quoted on all relevant paperwork);
• Return must be made within 7 days of receiving Smartech’s consent and returns number;
• Products must be returned to Smartech in their original condition and packaging, unused and in a condition which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale;
• The Customer must follow any specific instructions which appear on the Smartech website or with any product regarding its return to Smartech; and
• Products must be adequately packed and dispatched freight prepaid, clearly labelled to: Online Sales Dept., Smartech Nilai Factory, Lot 16015, Jalan Nilam 3, Bandar Nilai Utama, 71800 Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

Smartech accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to products in transit from Customer to Smartech or for any items received by Smartech with them.

Upon receipt of the damaged or incorrect product, we will ship out a replacement, if available. If a replacement is not available, we will refund the purchase price of the damaged or incorrect product including the original shipping cost and return shipping cost.

Refund and exchange request cannot be made in the following cases: 

• When request is made after 7 days of the date of delivery;
• Any item not in its original packaging along with all original accessories (including manuals, warranty cards, certificate of authenticity);
• When sealed package is opened or packaging materials are lost (unless our service team can ascertain that they were found defective at the time of opening);
• Has been used or installed or has any data inputted; or
• Damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

We reserve the right to reject any return, exchange, refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your replacement or refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment as soon as reasonably practicable.
